Duration: 3 days / 2 nights
Day 1:
- Arrival in Ungheni City and accommodation at a comfortable hotel in the downtown.
- Walking in the downtown (Chestnut Alley, Independence Square & Pedestrian fountain, Square „Grigore Vieru”, Park ”Micul Cluj”)
- Walking on the Eiffel Bridge, designed by the well-known engineer Gustave Eiffel OR visiting horse farm and an equestrian ride
Day 2:
Breakfast at the Hotel.
- Visit to the Church “St. Alexandru Nevski” from Ungheni, an architectural masterpiece, built by the famous architect Alexandru Bernardazzi.
- Visit to the Museum of History and Ethnography of Ungheni, where you will have the opportunity to see historical and ethnographic exhibits and better understand the culture and traditions of the place.
- Visit to the Railway Station, the oldest urban building in Ungheni. In the Ungheni railway junction, trains leaving from the Republic of Moldova to Romania and beyond change from wide gauge (Soviet standard) to narrower gauge (European standard).
Day 3:
Breakfast at the Hotel.
- Visit to the Natural Reservation ”Plaiul Fagului”, where you will explore the beauty of wild nature and be able to observe birds and flora specific to the area.
- Prince Potemkin’s Monument, the place where Grigory Potemkin, a great Russian dignitary at the court of Empress Catherine II, died.
- Lunch in a traditional restaurant in Ungheni District, where you will taste authentic local dishes.
- Departure from Ungheni with beautiful memories and unforgettable experiences.
